Joseph's Trattoria Downtown

What a truly magical and genuine Italian restaurant. I am very sad to see that it shows temporarily closed because this would have been my absolute favorite spot to go to as often as I could. My date and I love to get gnocci in Alfredo, so we added chicken and sausage which was outstanding. The waiter was my absolute favorite and is especially the reason that I am sad this place is closed temporarily. The waiter Was the atmosphere and a damn amazing one, he was welcoming and warm and I really wanted to return just for his service. He made us feel at home And He could have sold us anything on the menu. They don't make waiters like that anymore. We got the lobster ravioli to split, it was very very good and our food was top tier. I could go on and on recommending this place. The pictures near the bathroom really made me want to stay and figure out who was related to these owners and it gave such a good Italian feel and history.

Went here for my boyfriends birthday. I went on the website, which says you can add your name to a wait list and it showed you the wait times. I added my name and it texted me and told me we were good for around 530PM. We get there and the hostess lets us know that it is a 45 minute wait. I told her I added my name to a wait list online. She told me they aren't using that currently. I told her then that needs to be removed from your site because it is VERY misleading. So we waited and they sat us inside right in front of the kitchen. While waiting for our entrées for OVER an hour I watched one of the chefs cook the whole entire time with his mask under his mouth. Many coworkers were interacting with him and no one seemed to mention it. I ordered the duck, which we all know is pricey. My duck was hot, while my mashed sweet potatoes and sauce were ICE COLD. The meal said it came with zucchini and there were 2 little shaved pieces hidden under the duck. DEFINITELY not worth the price. It had already taken so long to get our food I wasn't sending anything back. I ended up bringing my whole meal home to be able to heat it up and eat the whole dish hot. The duck had so much fat on it there was barely any meat you could actually eat. Very disappointing. I recently went to the new location and ordered a filet, it was absolutely delicious. The food was great and so was the service. Big different from the last spot. Went again and actually took photos! Such an improvement 👏 🙌

Made reservations on a Friday night. Finally an Italian restaurant with crusty bread to start aside oil as well as olives. Great service from our waitress. Highly recommend the amalfi gintonica. For dinner I had the pollo o vitello con limone, delicious. Dessert was the apple crostata, which was also delicious. Excited to go back!

Excellent food. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. Joseph’s chefs deserve an award for consistency. Each dish is prepared and presented to be as delicious and as appealing as the last. Their fresh baked bread never fails to get the taste buds going. For lunch I like the Pollo Piippo Panini and Risotto Frutti di Mare for dinner. My wife swears by their Swordfish plate. The waiters are accommodating, the martinis are shaken to perfection, and the deserts are top notch.

I went with 4 of my coworkers to celebrate Christmas together. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was fantastic. We were well taken care of and our server was so kind and friendly! The manager (I believe his name is Chris) came over to the table to welcome us and introduce himself. He made us feel so welcomed. Everyone there helped us to feel so comfortable to relax and have so much fun and laughter and the space was perfect for that. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a couple of appetizers, drinks that were creative as well as a wonderful dinner. There were five of us and we felt the pricing was very good for all the food drink and fun we had. We had not a single complaint and left having had a fantastic experience. Josephs has now become the spot we will celebrate our Christmas gathering for all years to come!!
